- Grape variety: Merlot 100%
- Elaboration: Harvested on
17th September 1998. Fermented in stainless steel tanks at a temperature
of 25ºC for ten days. It has an ageing of six months in American
oak barrels.
- Colour: Of medium high lawyer,
ruby with garnet reflections.
- Aroma: Complex, where one
emphasies the notes of red fruits with a vegetal base typical of
the merlot. Everything is rounded off with cocoa and smoked reminders.
- Taste: The first flavour impression
is the typical dryness of the tannins given by the merlot variety,
which will eventually be rounded off in the bottle. The end of the
flavour is quite long and fresh.
- Recomendations: It should
be served at a temperature between 14ºC and 16ºC.
- Accompaniment: It is specially
recommended for red meat and dry cheese.
